The registrations for this year's FIFA tournament at the Electronics & Gaming Expo have opened.

Up for grabs this year in the virtual football tournament is a cash prize pool of R10,000. Players must choose a heat and preferred platform that suits them but the top two per platform per heat will need to be back on Sunday to compete for the cash in the Championship Playoffs. There is a 16-player cap per heat per platform with a total of four heats.

Heats will be a group phase (four players per group) with top two proceeding to playoffs. The top two players will return on Sunday and participate in a home and away (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) single elimination playoff. Seeding will be determined by placement in heats.
