The SHIFT Gaming Experience brought to you by MTN already underway and heading to Hyprop Malls in Western Cape and Gauteng over the next few months. 

A variety of gaming activities will be available featuring spot prizes, daily prizes and random draws, while the FIFA 23 tournament series will culminate in a R35,000 cash grand final at Canal Walk in August.

For those that prefer using their feet to do some virtual damage, there will also be daily fighting tournaments, each featuring mall vouchers for the top two competitors per tournament.

Ddetails for virtual fighters keen to compete:

  • One fighting tournament per day.
  • Entry is free but restricted to 16-players.
  • R1,500 mall vouchers per tournament up for grabs. R1,000 to winner. R500 to second place.

EVENT SCHEDULE

The schedule for each three-day mall event is as follows. Please note that walk-in registration opens one hour before the listed start time and closes 10 minutes before matches start. Each heat is limited to strictly 16-players only.

Friday:

  • Brawlhalla: Registration: 2pm to 2:50pm | Matches: 3pm to 6pm 

Saturday: 

  • Tekken 7: Registration: 2pm to 2:50pm | Matches: 3pm to 6pm
  • No players under the age of 13

Sunday:

  • Street Fighter V: Registration: 2pm to 2:50pm | Matches: 3pm to 6pm
  • No players under the age of 13
