The Mythic Royale Squad Finale in just a few days away, where players will be competing for R12,000 in cash all thanks to MSI, Sparkfox and Redragon. Today we are pleased to announce the Top 20 teams that have qualified for the finale. Additionally, we will be highlighting some changes that we have made to our point system for squads, as well as streaming and broadcasting. Find all the information below. 

Who Qualified?

For April, it's been up to you and your squad to grind out on the ACGL platform via our tournaments and matchfinders in order to get your rank as high as possible and stand the best chance of qualifying. Only by applying to enter will your team have been considered. Those that entered and had the highest ranks are below.

Points 

The Mythic Royale will be played to the following point system for squads: 

  • Win: 10 Points
  • 2nd: 7 Points
  • 3rd: 5 Points
  • 4th - 5th: 3 Points

Each Elimination: 1 Point 

Live Stream Update

In the past tournaments, we have allowed players to live to stream their own point-of-view (POV). Based on direct feedback and conversations with the community, we have decided that players will be required to stream unlisted and contact admin@acgl.co.za with their mobile number if they wish to stream. We will be sending those players a basic stream pack and a guideline on how to use the graphics. Additionally, we will be sharing the links to those streamers channels (not their live broadcast) via our Live Stream.

We want to ensure that the players are highlighted and their skill is shown to a wider audience. 

Where to Watch

This weekend we are happy to announce that the matches will be live-streamed via the ACGL Youtube account. It will additionally be live on the Mythic Royale home page (if you want to secure the Mythic Royale Avatar). 

The stream will be live at 18:30.

Be sure to subscribe and tune in as we showcase some of the best Fortnite players in the country. 

Prize pool

The February solos finale will feature a R12,000 cash prize pool, split as follows:

  • 1st Place: R6,000
  • 2nd Place: R3000
  • 3rd Place: R2000
  • 4th Place: R1000 

Let the grind for the Solo Mythic Royale in May begin! 

Registrations for the May Solo Mythic Royale are now live. The competition will have a total prize pool of R3,000! The last day available for qualification for the Solo Finale (30th of May) will be on the 24th of May. 

How Mythic Royale works

  • Apply for Entry for your team for the monthly finale
  • Sign up and compete in the regular Fortnite cups to earn Elo
  • Use the Fortnite matchfinders to secure additional Elo for your ranking
  • The Top 20 teams (according to combined ELO rank) will be invited
  • Compete in the finale and… win.
